A Long Time Coming...

When Crystal Dynamics rebooted Tomb Raider in 2013, it was (rightly) hailed as a fantastic action game. Tomb Raider was a retooled origin tale that saw her as a survivor on an isolated island adapting in a well-written adventure.
When Nintendo started porting older titles from the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 era to Switch, like Batman, Bioshock, and Darksiders, many fans were hoping Lara's rebooted trilogy would finally make its way to the portable device. Now, with the Switch 2 out and 8 years on from the Nintendo Switch's debut, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition has finally made its way to Switch and Switch 2.

There had been speculation for a long time, but no announcement before the sudden drop of the first title in Crystal Dynamics' excellent trilogy. The Switch edition comes with all released DLC as well as some added extras such as the Dark Horse comics Tomb Raider: The Beginning and a digital mini artbook.
The game also features the 8-player multiplayer component, going 12 years strong, which players can go ahead and jump into. The current cost of the package is £17/$20 with an exclusive 10% discount applied at launch.
Are you going to hop back into Lara's excellent survivor's tale?
